Romantic Location in the Kent Countryside

The Old Sheep Fold provides the perfect location for a Romantic Break, with luxurious amenities and an idyllic countryside setting, you need look no further to escape.

The private space where the Shepherd Hut is located, is surrounded by hedgerows filled with wild flowers and many native birds and wild animals. In the spring the local woodlands are filled with the most incredible display of bluebells.

If a relaxing stroll is what you need, the surrounding countryside offers a variety of gentle walks that meander through our local Staffhurst Woods and national trust properties. Some of England’s finest historic houses are just on our doorstep. Make time to visit Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill, beautiful gardens and very good cake. Visit the 13th Century, Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the gardens and castle will keep you busy for hours.

Chiddingstone village and Castle also a short drive away. Where you can explore one of the oldest and prettiest villages in England. The castle is free to enter and in the Spring/Summer ablaze with beautiful trees and gardens.

For a change of scene, and in our opinion a definite must is the short stroll from the Shepherd Hut, through the open fields to our local pub, The Grumpy Mole, where a warm welcome and delicious food awaits you, you will not be disappointed.

Edenbridge and Oxted are a short drive away and have a good selection of supermarkets and deli’s to pick up supplies from.
Gatwick is only a 25 minute drive.
